Our new Media, Communications, and Business/Entrepreneurial work will be featured through a Photography & Mixed Media Exhibit, Film Showcase, Apprentice Meet & Greet, Speakers, Apprentice Product Offerings, Fall Flowers, and More!
This exhibit, offered in conjunction with our partners at A Place To Be supports our “Rooted in Diversity” campaign with an emphasis on the intensive media work initiated during our partnered winter program.
Our Rooted in Diversity campaign is a joint effort among our neurodiverse staff, mentors, apprentices, and partners to empower neurodiversity. The term "Rooted in Diversity" was chosen by our new media team in winter, with a stated goals of showing "neurodivergent individuals are intelligent, capable, functional, and successful human beings" and "sharing how apprentices contribute to the business, organization, and world."
Legacy Farms' Rooted in Diversity campaign is centered on sustaining our growth to provide in-depth, year-round program and job opportunities to over 50 neurodivergent individuals per year.
Legacy Farms' services are growing by 25% across the board in 2025 and 2026 with the addition of a new season of services in Winter. By 2026, our goal is to provide educational and vocational opportunities to over 50 neurodivergent individuals per year. With the addition of our fourth season of winter programming, we now offer an additional 1,500 hours of mentored services in a neurodiverse work community, while increasing direct client interaction from 6,000 hours in 2024 to over 7,500 hours in 2025.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Brandon Hassan, professional musician and music therapist at partner organization A Place To Be, along with a small silent auction and a "Fund Legacy Farms" request.
All of the funds raised from this event will go toward furthering our programming, which was recognized by the Town of Leesburg as setting “a commendable example for others to reinforce the value and talent that people with disabilities add to our workplaces & the community as a whole.” And was featured on Great Day Washington’s morning show segment, Legacy Farms Sows the Seeds of Diversity and Inclusion.
