Supported 50 neurodivergent individuals across all our programs, the Legacy Blooms floral business, and our junior staff positions
Provided 7,500 hours of mentorship in gardening, business, communications, and photography
Harvest 3,500 specialty-cut floral stems, which were brought to market as bouquets and floral arrangements made by our apprentices
Held dozens of apprentice-led tours and events at the farm and throughout Loudoun County

Matching Gifts
Did you know that many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees? We are seeking individuals, as well as their companies to help Legacy Farms meet our goals. Ask your HR/Personnel department if your employer participates in a matching gift program!
Amazon Wish List
Our growing season requires lots of supplies, especially to support our vegetable garden at Temple Hall Farm and our flower garden at Fabbioli Cellars. Generous folks ask us how they can we help with supplies, so we came up with an Amazon Wish list. By providing us with the tools and resources to keep the garden healthy, you will be helping Legacy Farms' programming and participants.
Gifts of Securities
A gift of stock you have owned for a number of years can have tax advantages for you. If you have owned the stock for more than a year and it has increased in value, its outright gift to Legacy Farms would mean a significant tax savings. You are not required to pay capital gains tax on the appreciation, so the actual cost to you, the donor, is often far less than the value to the home.
Gifts of Real Estate
By providing Legacy Farms with the property, residence, and farm space for program and production development, you would change the lives of numerous families. Your sole donation would ensure Legacy Farms could provide a new start for between 40-50 families and their adult children with different abilities. We are open to considering new ideas, whether it’s a dairy farm, vineyard, or organic grower. We would like to consider a donation of property as a gift to be sold for the benefit of Legacy Farms! By making a gift of this property, you would avoid the capital gains tax and, at the same time, receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the property. It is also possible to arrange the gift of your home, farm, or vacation home so that you and your beneficiaries can continue to use it for your lifetimes.
Gifts of Life Insurance
A gift of life insurance can provide a significant charitable deduction. You could purchase a new policy or donate a policy that you currently own but no longer need. To receive a deduction, designate both as the owner and beneficiary of the insurance policy. Check with your insurance agent for the details.
Wills & Bequests
When making estate plans, please consider placing us in your will. A bequest is a gift that can be made by almost everyone. It involves no immediate loss of capital or income, it allows for a significantly larger gift, and the tax benefits minimize the ultimate cost to one’s heirs.
